What is PAVA?
Voice Alarm Systems (also known as Public Address Voice Alarm PAVA or Voice Evacuation System) are one of the most critical and necessary security elements for public as well as private buildings, office buildings, businesses, etc. while now, based on a common European directive, all buildings are required to have corresponding voice alarm systems. Through voice alarm systems, it is possible to rapidly transmit information in cases of emergency, such as fire, earthquake, terrorist attack, sabotage or other malicious act, in order to
ensure an immediate and coordinated evacuation of the building and the area.
Why PAVA is necessary?
It is obvious that the successful and safe evacuation of the building is directly dependent on the correct and effective operation of the PAVA system and its individual parameters.
That is why, both the construction specifications of a PAVA system, as well as its installation and operation specifications, are determined by the industrial standards EN 54-16 and EN 54-24,
as well as by the international standard IEC60849, which applies to sound amplification and distribution systems used for the rapid and orderly mobilization of visitors in indoor or outdoor spaces in the event of an emergency.
